Villa Vita Nova B.V. is a private addiction treatment clinic. Clients pay for their treatment privately, allowing full privacy and anonymity to be guaranteed.

 

PART A — GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE TREATMENT RELATIONSHIP

2. Scope of Application

These terms and conditions apply to:
• every registration, intake, treatment, or aftercare process;
• all services provided by Villa Vita Nova B.V.;
• agreements between the client and Villa Vita Nova B.V.;
• communication, payments, and treatment agreements.

3. Registration and Intake

• Registration is non-binding.
• During the intake, it is assessed whether treatment is appropriate and responsible.
• Treatment commences only after a treatment agreement has been signed by both the client and Villa Vita Nova B.V.

4. Provision of Treatment

• Villa Vita Nova B.V. provides treatment in accordance with professional standards.
• The clinic has a best-efforts obligation, not an obligation to achieve specific results.
• The client provides complete and accurate information regarding health, medication, and personal circumstances.
• The client actively cooperates in the treatment process.
• External professionals may be engaged under the responsibility of Villa Vita Nova B.V.

5. Code of Conduct and Safety

• House rules and safety regulations are mandatory.
• Aggression, misconduct, or persistent refusal to cooperate may result in immediate termination of treatment.

6. Costs and Payment

• Treatment costs are confirmed in writing prior to commencement.
• Payment is made in advance, unless otherwise agreed.
• Additional services are communicated in advance and invoiced separately.
• In the event of non-payment, treatment may be suspended or terminated.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality (Summary)

• Villa Vita Nova B.V. uses a closed, internal electronic client record (ECR) system with no connection to external systems.
• No data is shared with health insurers.
• Data is used exclusively for intake, treatment, and administrative purposes.
• Employees are subject to a statutory duty of confidentiality.
• Clients have the right to access, correct, and—where permitted—delete their personal data.

8. Termination of Treatment

Villa Vita Nova B.V. may terminate treatment if:
• the client breaches agreements;
• payment is not made;
• safety is compromised;
• continuation of treatment is no longer responsible.

The client may terminate treatment at any time. Aftercare will be offered where possible.

9. Liability

Villa Vita Nova B.V. is not liable for damage resulting from:
• failure to follow advice;
• withholding information;
• personal choices or circumstances of the client;
• loss of or damage to personal belongings;
• events beyond the clinic’s control.
